Form Conditions

Form Conditions allow you to add logic to a form to either grade/score a lead, or hide/show form fields based on values that have been selected.

Creating a Form Condition

Go to the Form Builder, and click on the Edit icon and then the Edit link inside the menu.

On the form that appears, scroll to the Form Conditions block in the main column. Click the Green ‘+’ button in the Form Conditions Block, and select the type of condition that you want to create.

There are 2 types of condition that you can choose from:

a. Lead Score Total - This will score a lead when submitted through the form
b. Hide/Show Form Information - This will show or hide form field values based on the conditions that are set.

Fill in the form as appropriate and click ‘Create’. For the purposes of this tutorial, we will be creating a Lead Scoring condition.

Once created, you will see you new Condition in the list on the block. Once a Condition has been created, it will not be active. This is because no form values have as yet been mapped to it. Additionally, no condition rules have been created.

Setting up form condition values

In order for a score to be generated, the form values that need scoring need to be mapped to the Condition. To add a new Value to the condition, click the ‘Edit Condition Values’ button.

To map form values to the condition, click the green ‘+’ icon. On the select option that appears, select the form value that you want to be listed against, and the criteria by which the condition can score it and then click the green tick icon.

Repeat the process above until all form values that you want to be scored are present.

Setting up form condition rules

In order for a lead to be scored and graded, the form rules that define what happens to the lead need to be mapped to the Condition. To add a new Rule to the condition, click the ‘Edit Condition Rules’ button.

To add rules to the condition, click the green ‘+’ icon. On the select option that appears, select the published status that this will assign to the lead, whether it will allow to push through on a Form Module and the criteria by which the rule can trigger and then click the green tick icon.

Repeat the process above until all form rules that you want are present.
